Hi everyone-I was diagnosed with a brain injury I sustained when I fell in my basement. I have problems with balance, memory, concentration, etc.Since it has been 3 months since the fall, they are thinking that these problems might be more long term. So the neuro. is having me try using adderall xr to see if it might help me with some of these problems-it may, or may not. This week I started on 5mg adderal xr each morning, for a week. If I tolerate that, and if it doesn't seem to be doing anything, I am to take 2 pills (10mg) each morning, and then see her in a month. So far, the first 2 days I've taken it, I haven't notices any difference in my thinking, etc. How long does it take to notice that it is helping you? I really hope this will work-I'm unemployed-lost my job a year ago. and going to interviews the way my brain is working right now is not working out very well. Any particular side effects I should be aware of? Thanks for your help, and I'm really glad I found this group. God Bless! Kathy

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
