Hi, my name is Rhonda and was just diagnosed with Secondary Addison's, Waiting to have an MRI of my pituitary gland, really worried there's going to be a tumor and I cant find any info on how likely this is when Addison's is because there is something wrong with pituitary gland. Does anyone have this type of Addison's that could give me any info it would be great.

I just recently looked up Addison's on Webmd just in case I was missing some new information. I've had the disease over 10 years now. If you go to www.webmd.com and put in the search box at the top Addison's Disease it will take you to a page with multiple choices. You want the first article. It states in the first paragraph that there are 5 reasons the pituitary can cause this condition. And then it goes on to give you information about all that.

Education is really important with this disease. The more you know the less anxiety you will have dealing with Addison's. we are all here to help. Welcome to our group.

Hello,
I was diagnosed with Addison's (secondary) about a month ago. The MRI of my pituitary gland showed that it has retained water and does not function and never will.
