Addison's Disease Support Group
Addison's disease (also known as chronic adrenal insufficiency, or hypocortisolism) is a rare endocrine disorder. It is estimated that it affects about 1 to 2 in 100,000 people. It occurs when the adrenal glands, seated above the kidneys, fail to produce enough of the hormone cortisol and, sometimes, the hormone aldosterone
I keep trying to find a reason and will soon be going to the Mayo clinic for some answers and hopefully better treatment??
Good luck to you and hope you feel better soon??
I also find I get nauseous and have low cortisol symptoms right before getting sick, it is almost like my body knows before I do??
I get a fair amount of nausea too. Whenever my body is too stressed for whatever reason, be it physical or emotional, I get nauseous. I get episodes of heavy sweating out of nowhere, and they come with nausea. When i'm really tired, I get nausea. When I get sick, I get nauseous and sometimes it turns to vomiting and total abject misery of pre crisis. It seems to be a frequent symptom. I have not had to take meds for it except when I'm sick, but these days I am thinking I might need some if this keeps up. It is miserable. I hope yours lets up.

sad to say we just have to learn to live with a lot of bad symptoms!
Additionally, I have gone gluten free for 3 years ( my MOM had celiac disease). My nausea is MUCH improved. I no longer get motion sick(as I have my entire life) and have not gotten a cold sore ( which I have also had my whole life... so bad that when I was a kid When I got one they rushed me to the DR, so that he could take the fluid from the blister and immunize me with it.... it never worked) since being gluten free. Additionally, I no longer have a stomach ache after eaten.... a lifelong experience, too.
Good luck to you in dealing with this problem... very distressing and negative for your enjoyment of life.
