Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
It is not a bad question. We ask have those things that mean return to normal to us. I would follow your docs advice. As I near the two year mark of dx, many things remind me of that time and make me sad. For r example, today I went to a cheer mom meeting for my two junior highdaughters. Last year at this time, I attended this meeting with my mask on as I was still immune compromised. What a difference a year can make.
