Found out today that I have achieved second remission following my post-transplant relapse!! I feel so happy and blessed! I know there is still work to be done, and there are so many ups and downs, but I believe in miracles! This is a miracle! My type of AML has proven to be quite aggressive, but I have knocked it out twice now.

When I relapsed last month, my doctors made me wonder if I would live to see the next few months. Now, my leukemia has been cleared from my blood, spinal fluid, and bone marrow. My chimerism results show that my myeloid cells are 100% donor, and my T-cells are 80% donor. I will be receiving one more round of chemo soon and a DLI of more of my brother's cells. Still receiving lumbar punctures to keep my spinal fluid clear, as well. Praying for smooth chemo treatment, recovery, and for more strong, fighting cells.
