Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
Each round takes a little more to recover so if you can get as much strength back as possible it helps a lot :)
Really happy to hear that. Follow his doctor's and Aussimum's advice and he will do fine. Make sure he exercises as much as possible to keep his muscles strong.

Check carefully whether he is still neutrapenic when leaving -- just because they let him go does not mean he can resume normal life. I had some of my worst times between consolidation rounds and I was doing everything I could to stay isolated from the world of germs and bacteria. You just cannot be too careful -- dave
I'm praising almighty God along with you and Jaime for His Devine intervention!!! Ditto what everyone has said about exercise and isolation. At this stage, you cannot be too cautious with regard to germ exposure.

Hemo count still low but plateletts 215,000 , he is tired as expected but very happy to be home! Thank you all for your prayers
