Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
So sorry to hear of your Dx but pleased you are reaching for help and to help others.
This support group was once very active; however, participation had dropped off.
There is another group at the lymphoma leukemia society site at the following link:
https://communityview.lls.org/groups/acute-myeloid-leukemia
I would love to help you get through your bumps. I was dxd over 5 years ago at age 48 with three daughters age 8, 10 and 12. I am doing very well with returned health.
Please join us at the other site. If you'd like to chat directly, you can private message me also.
Blessings
Julie

Cape Cod Mary
