This one is new to me, anyone else experience this? I had my third round of chemo consolidation this past Wednesday thru Saturday and ran a low grade (99-100.8) fever the entire time. No other symptoms. I'm on cytarabine for three 24hr periods and idarubacin two of those days. During induction I had tumor lysis syndrome with real high fevers but I thought that was due to all the cancer cells dying off quickly and causing an immune response. To the best of my knowledge, my cancer is still in remission so I don't think the fever this time is from cancer cells dying. Maybe just a reaction to chemo? Of course my fear (as always) is a relapse. Could that fever had been a sign of it? I had labs drawn everyday so I think drs would see other signs. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks all!!
