Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

I'm so sorry that you've lost such a beautiful friend, and so very sad for Larissa and her family. I lost a wonderfully dear friend too last month. We had shared many struggles and many laughs throughout our journeys with leukemia. He was my absolute hero, & I miss him everyday. I live in his memory and he will always be in my heart, just as Larissa will be in yours. Your presence in her life would have meant everything to her. We are here for you...much love and hugs xxx
My sadness is for you and her friends....however.... My biggest question was ....Did she accept The Gift we can all have...The gift of eternal Life? ...the joy and peace of knowing Laryssa did accept is The blessing beyond words.
Praise God!
I pray that you find inner peace with the thought that she has found eternal salvation. And that her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in peace.

Just as many have said before me, I'm so saddened by this news and am thinking of you and hoping you can find peace knowing what a help you were to her, and you were brought together and you shared a very special bond with her.
Love to you!

I know that death is part of the cycle of life, but there is nothing good about losing a valiant fight...absolutely nothing.
Rest in peace, Laaryssa. You were and are one of a kind.
