Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
Dear all,
I am heartbroken to report that precious Laaryssa passed yesterday peacefully at 430 pm. Our dear friend, Paul was by her side to the end holding her hand and sweetly whispering in her ear how much almighty God loves her and repeating John 3:16 For God so loved the world, Hee sent his Only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. I do not have words for all the emotions I have at thismoment.
Our relationship is so unique. We never met have to face but rather were connected via a mutual friend due to our aml dx. We spoke on the phone very often. I was the first person she called with good and bad news. We cried town, we prayers together, we pondered the meaning of all of this. I love her with all my heart. She just recently accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and I praise God for this. Bless you all for your prayers

I'm so sorry that you've lost such a beautiful friend, and so very sad for Larissa and her family. I lost a wonderfully dear friend too last month. We had shared many struggles and many laughs throughout our journeys with leukemia. He was my absolute hero, & I miss him everyday. I live in his memory and he will always be in my heart, just as Larissa will be in yours. Your presence in her life would have meant everything to her. We are here for you...much love and hugs xxx
My sadness is for you and her friends....however.... My biggest question was ....Did she accept The Gift we can all have...The gift of eternal Life? ...the joy and peace of knowing Laryssa did accept is The blessing beyond words.

Just as many have said before me, I'm so saddened by this news and am thinking of you and hoping you can find peace knowing what a help you were to her, and you were brought together and you shared a very special bond with her.
