I wanted to share with all of you that Julian's "100 day" BMB and LP are in. He is 100% donor cells for the third time! There is no evidence of leukemia! I am so incredibly happy to be able to say that! We will follow up with his doctor tomorrow, and I am so hopeful that we will be able to go home. I am not banking on that yet, because he continues to have diarrhea and a lot of belly issues (nausea and lack of appetite). His doctor is the GVHD guru at U of M, so I am sure that she knows what she is doing, but he no longer has adenovirus showing up in his stool. Has anyone had GVHD of the gut/intestines that caused these symptoms? They have not tested him for it again (they did early on and it was negative), because he has not continued to get progressively worse, but it is not improving and is possibly slowly worsening. Just curious. Whatever it is, we will deal with it, because nothing could be better than these great results!!!
