Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. My son just finished round 1 of consolidation and had bad bone pain. He did get the shot Dave asked about and 6 days later the pain started. He got iv pain meds and said it helped a lot.
I hope Jamie feels better soon. It sounds like my son is about 4 days ahead of him and today he said he just has a little pain.
