Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
What a great Mom you are! And congrats on your pregnancy. You have to relax a bit, because you too need TLC and deserve it. Do not worry if your son gets these (probably viral) illnesses. I am sure that his immune system is still getting reconstituted and will function better and better. Fortunately, there are fewer viral illnesses in the summer. Just be very careful with his diet. No honey (can have botulism spores, believe it or not) and well cooked foods, including vegetables. It is good to have mild infections along the way to recovery, because it stimulates the immune system.
I am thrilled about his counts. Children are so resilient. Just relax about all of this. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Thanks again--

Sorry I brought that up. NO. Continue to give him the Zarbees. I am really referring to honey that you buy in the store and that sits around. It is harmless to adults, but can, if it has the spores, cause floppy baby in infants. I NOT TO WORRY!!!!
