Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group

Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

Thank you Julie. Yes Jimmy is doing very well His counts are great, better then most "normal" people. He is feeling well and trying to just get back to living his life again. He does have a little GVHD but very manageable . This summer will be five years since his diagnosis, 3 inductions, 2 transplants countless hospital stays and visits but finally feeling like there's light at the end of this tunnel.
As many I don't come on as much anymore but continue to think and pray for each and everyone of you and pop on once in a while just to check in.
