Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

She does have her daughter's wedding to plan. She will marry September of 2015. Once that really gets going, maybe that will help.
Maybe she could have a YouTube account where her friends and family can continue to send her videos?? She can send videos back to them. That might be easier, and could be quite entertaining, too.
Best,

When I was dxd with aml 14 months ago and told I would be in the hospital anywhere from one to eight month I went into shock. Like jo, I am a flaming extrovert. I am a squadron commander in the Af and teach Master s classes. I love people. Plus most importantly, I had three young girls to raise.
Monty husband and I agreed we needed to keep the girls as normal as possible so he ran them to cheer practice and church and schools activities while I spent most of my 28 days in the hospital for inductionwalking the halls of the hospital alone and watching downtown Abby and wwII documentaries.
After I found out I could be home between consolidation sessions and the AF allowed me to telework and I could teach online I felt like the most blessed person in the world. God granted me the most amazing peace during those ten months. I loved the isolation with just my family. I must say I am less off an extrovert now, I am more selective about who I spend my previous time with. Quality over quantity. I pray :P finds God s peace
