I am so sorry you are seeing the reset button. I think knowing what to expect regarding induction is so much better than the first time where the whole thing is a huge unknown. You sailed through the first time with no complication and you'll do even better this time because you are healthy, no infections. Inversion 16 is one of the easiest sub types to get back into remission. Then on to sct.

Larissa is a perfect example. In May she had five months. Today she is
100% donor and blast free. She is 72 years old and was flt3

No trail just the same as last time. Doctor seems to think that with the inv 16 and the length of remission I have a great chance of getting back into remission.
Lea, mentioned to doc about the dasatinib and he said it show some promise in older patients but didnt recommend it in my case.

Scott -- thanks for the update. Yes, you are taking it well, and staying optimistic is part of the cure. Since you have been thorough it once you know the drill all too well. It is easy to get depressed, but that is an enemy you need to fight and win over right now if you have not already. Wake up, praise the Lord for giving you one more day, and get on with the business of staying alive. We are all praying and cheering for you. Thanks everyone, but it is very easy to stay positive because of you guys. Again shout to lea because she and Tony is ahead of me and giving me great advice. Julie and everyone else on here is greatly appreciated and have a special place in my heart.

Not really feeling any effects of chemo yet and counts holding steady. Doc says when I finish on Christmas might entertain the thought of going home for the day. We'll see.

Hey Scott, what a wonderful incentive that will be - to go home for Christmas, albeit a short visit. You are doing well not to have any effects of chemo yet and hope that this continues. Cannot believe it is 10 months since my allo SCT and my second Christmas since diagnosis. You will do great :)
