Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

We all know how horrible it is to have to wait for results, and that it is impossible not to worry, but if you can, that is what you need to do for now. Keep focused on the things you can control - keep yourself well, eat well, exercise, spend quality time with your family. Keep strong and know we are all wishing and praying for the very best news for you. Love and hugs xxx
Hugs and reassurance.
I agree with everything that has been said. Those blasts are immature cells from an active marrow and you have no need to panic. Like Lora's, those blasts should soon go away.
