Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
Your brother and family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry to hear how difficult things have been...He has taken the hard road, like many on this forum, but I have every hope that he will get there...love to you and your family xxx
I am so sorry to hear about Tim's passing. Hopefully now that they have figured out what is causing Jack's liver problems they can treat it and he will be allowed to continue on the ASP 2215.
Jack is in my daily prayers.

Astellas still has the ASP2215 trial, maybe UCLA just stopped it.
I just came off it myself, wasn't working fast enough i guess. Now on Nexavar, still trying to get from 8% blasts to 5 or below for SCT.
So great to hear from you, I've been paying for you. I hope this drug gets the blasts where they need to be for sct.
Blessings
