Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

I am still fascinated by how different hospitals decide on in- or out-patient treatments. When I had my fungal pneumonia, I was in-patient the whole time and never had any home health nurses. I would much rather have been home. So that too will help keep Jack's spirits up between coughs. Believe me...just keep your eyes riveted on the horizon. Don't look down at your feet.

I have been thinking about Jack all day and wondering how his liver tests are doing. I am sure that the abnormality is drug related (most likely the antifungals). Please keep us posted.
