Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

Aussie: I suggest copying and pasting each story into Google translator. Paste it en spanish (select the language) and then select english as the language for traduction. Even though not the best translation, Im quite sure you will understand the story.
All of those stories are about people who had BMT, not only-chemo survivers like Dave and me (sorry I dont remember who else). There is one story of a lady who was diagnosed in 2007 and currently having normal life.

Today I volunteered in the oncology clinic a d spoke to many different cancer patients and it was a blessing to see the hope and strength in there eyes. I told them I remember sitting in that exact same chair taking treatment like they were doing. I hope i brought them some happiness because I know they did for me.

A team of researchers at Penn State University says theyve been able to seed living human cells with nanoparticles that can be controlled remotely. When they got the drivable nanomotors moving around inside cervical cancer cellswith ultrasonic waves as the propulsive force and magnetic fields doing the steeringthe particles behaved like a high-tech food processor, making a homogenized mix of the cells contents. The researchers dont envision microscopic blunt-force trauma; the damage will be finely tuned because the team is able to make the nanoparticles move autonomously from each other and selectively destroy their hosts.
