Merry Christmas everyone! I have been absent for a while--just busy. It is hard to believe how fast the day goes with the two little ones! Julian has been doing very well. His blood work is fantastic--far better than I would have expected post-transplant. It seems like most people have lower levels of platelets, and sometimes other things too. Julian has been 250,000 or above consistently. We have been blessed so far that Julian has not had any infections, and no GVHD. He has not returned to inpatient at all so far. I am so hopeful that he will not! We have moved to an apartment recently to finish off his 100 days. We feel like he is exposed to less if we have our own private housing. Julian had his lumbar puncture and chimerism tests done last week on day 60. His LP came back with no evidence of malignancy. His peripheral blood chimerisms came back at 100% donor cells on the CD15 test and 99% donor cells on the CD3 test. Should I be concerned about the 99%? Have others been less than 100% and done well? I think these numbers can fluctuate, and the NP told us that one of the doctors says that CD15 is the best predictor of long term outcomes, so I am hoping that all is well. I am so very grateful for the 100% and I think 99% is good too. Just curious what others' experiences have been. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Prayers for healing and health!
