Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
Thank you for posting this. I am so happy for you!!! Each day, week, month in remission is a victory. Receiving a clean bmb results along w 100% donor cells is the best news any of us can hope for. I sooooo needed to read a positive post today (we are day -2) and I read tony the positive posts and messages for the boards, (& protect him from the others for now) so he will truly love this one, it gives him strength and hope, as it does me too.

My husband Ben had his transplant November 3rd, 2012, he went to The Lord on 3rd, July 2014. I know he would be celebrating every victory over this horrible aml.
