Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

What great news and it's wonderful that your son may be helping someone else who needs a transplant, wow how great is that to be a match for someone in need.

As I'm preparing for my own BMT in a few weeks, reading this about Harry is super encouraging. I agree with you about uncertainty, we are just more aware of it than most...
Lots of health

Great news! I'm glad Harry is still doing so well. And I love that your son is a match, I hope that he is picked to be the donor!
Thanks for sharing this good news with us!
