Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group

Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

Today is Jeremy's 3rd anniversary post transplant and he received a clean bill of health from his transplant doctor!

Great news, Karen. I'm so happy for Jeremy, I think of him all the time. It's a great story, he should be a poster child for his center. And Lea, great to hear from you again. I hope Tony is doing well and the children are enjoying the last days of summer. Come around every now and again to let us know how things are going.
