I pray this question is not for you as I know you are 2 plus years in remission? When I was dxi have low white and anc. My platelets were in the high 90's so my hemo doc did not think I had aml. My docs tell me that aml usually effects the platelets and white not red. What are the details of the CBC?

I have been itching really bad the last several days. Went to doctor and the white dipped below 3 but plt at 150 and everything else fine. Doc thinks may be a viral infection but wanted to do bmb to be on safe side. This shit just sacred me

I so understand the concern. What was your anc? Had your platelets dropped as well? Was itching one of your symptoms? When will your bmb results c ome back? Okay enough questions. Now I'm going to repeat all the reassuring inversion 16 info you remind me of. You won the aml lotto with this sub type. You are two years for months, if my memory serves me right, in remission. The chance of relapse is so slum at this point. Cbc results are more about a trend than one data point. your docs are conservitive like mine.

My plt dropped about 50, 000 but i dontI know anc was. I asked the onc and said he wasnt worried but I am.

Didnt have bmb yet going to wait til mnoday to see if white comes back up. Onc wasnt concerned about the itching nor was it one of my orginal symtoms. Last time it was low grade fever 99.5 100.5 night sweats, bruising.

The BMB is the ONLY way they can nail it down as far as I know. I would think that if you relapse you would have the same symptoms again because you would have the same mutant stem cell(s) causing the problem. I would say your chances of this signaling a relapse is very small, but I would also say that you are extremely lucky to have a med team that is not taking any chances with it. I would think that a lot of them would brush it off for a month or so, during which time some bad things could happen. So it is good you are getting it looked into even though it has a very high chance of coming back negative -- no problems. Please keep us up on how it goes. Thanks -- dave

I'm praying that your counts will be up. Last month my anc
And wbc went down below the normal range but once I told my med team I had a slight sore throat they said not to worry at all.

I know the panic that can set in when bmb is mentioned. It takes you back to a nightmare phase of your life that you've put in your rear view mirror.I am convinced your counts will be up Monday and this will be adistant memory in no time.

Anc on your labs could be under absolute nuetraphil count or just neutraphil. Please know you are in my prayers.
