Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

How nice of you to take the time to check in on everyone. Thank you for thinking of me. I'm trying to take it one day at a time... It's not easy. I miss my daddy so much. How are you and your dad doing? I hope you are all doing well and excited for his upcoming new birthday! He's going to breeze through it, especially with such a loving daughter by his side. Thanks again for thinking of us. Best to you and dad. xo
You are truly remarkable! Thanks for including me in your long list of new friends. David and I came home yesterday and, after 31 days, it felt so good to sleep in the same bed with him. He is doing remarkably well; I am hopeful that this will bode well for him going forward. He gets depressed at times, but that is to be expected. Just being home, eating decent food and being surrounded by this "things" is the best medicine. I was sorry to hear about your dad's recent kidney issue and pray that it can be resolved and that he can proceed with the transplant. As I said in my previous post, I am keeping him and your family, as well as everyone else on the site, in my daily prayers. Please continue to keep us posted.
