I can talk only about eye lid twitching. I started to take magnesium and after a few days has twitching stopped. Try not to worry too much.
Take care,
Harmony
Also had eye lid twitching after surgery. Took magnesium/B6 and it stopped after a month.
Coffee, corticoids and vitamine D intake interfer with magnesium absorption. At that time, was taking the 3 of them.
B6 helps magnesium to be fixed.
Take care,
John
Thank you everybody for responding. The eye spasms don't really worry me, its the peripheral field vision loss. No, I don't have any symptoms of low magnesium
Again, thank you!
Ulrike
I would have to find my 2 latest MRIs to write exactely what it says. This is my memory: The adenoma is filling the sella turcica completely, size 15x12x10 mm, adjacent to the optic nerve but not compressing it.
The eye doctor is the one who told me that the peripherial visual problem is not related to the tumor.
I was scheduled for surgery Sep 09, then the endo said I should not have the surgery since my GH and IGF was actually below normal at the time.
are you on meds? like Sandostatin LAR? these are known to reduce B12 levels, so may be good to have your B12 level checked. low B12 can be the issue. also, low B6 level may be a problem. you can just go ahead and supplement B12 and B6 sublingually (get the No Shot brand at health food store) and see if it helps. if you supplement capsules of B6 separately, be sure to use the "P5P" version of B6, not the other type.
good luck, sunny
