I feel like Arnold S.,,,,,im baaaacckkkkk..... I guess you really cant stay away from this infernal monster....
I just had my two year followup mri (surgery was 9/2011), and it came back positive for a pituitary tumor 1cm x 6m x 5m....the report says the tumor is more midine on the pituitary versus the previous one which was more right sided (and at the time of the surgery was about 1cm x 1cm)....they are going to double check this, but i got a bad feeling in my gut about this......to make the story even more weird, my prolactin scores and igf-1 scores looked good as of April, 2013 (6.3 for prolactin and 200 for igf-1)..
Has anybody been down this road? Could it be a tumor that just doesnt produce the extra chemicals? Has anybody had more than one surgery and is there a problem doing this the second or third time around????

Have you met with your neuro or do you just have the report from the radiologist? I'm curious if they are both in agreement that it's tumor they are seeing or if there's any chance it's an artifact (scar tissue) from the original surgery. From what I understand, the MRI's get harder to read as time progresses after surgery. Are you on meds to control your levels or was your surgery alone enough to lower them to the normal range?
Unfortunately, it appears to be in a different are of the pituitary gland, so that may not be the case......Also, like i said its weird that my igf scores did not go up.....makes me think it could be a nonsecreting tumor or worse.....anyway i will keep you posted...
