I agree with PapillonRose that this a beautiful post. You are so right about looking after our health. I am feeling exhausted at the moment and slightly stressed as I am having the whole family here for Xmas for the first time in many years. I took the time for a power nap yesterday in between Xmas shopping sessions and I felt so much better!
Merry christmas everybody, hope everybody is feeling ok, How true lifespalette, my daughter had levels done prior to xmas and was very busy with new job, levels have tripled, im sure its the stress, also am I right in saying GH is a stress hormone.Doc done them again, he was very surprised, being as she has had radiotherapy, he think the lab work is wrong, awaiting results, anybody else had this. Hope you all have a brilliant New year, and like lifespalette said take thingseasy. spiegal
WE can all do ourselves a big favor by learning to control our stress agents in our daily lives.......... for me that may mean taking more breaks if the day is really hectic, on really bad days it may mean a power nap at lunch in the truck. I've found the Tai Chi is a blessing that not only helps with the stress levels, it helps with keeping limber and the muscle fatigue.........slow movement and mentally relaxing.
Let us know how the new results come out.......
Thank you so much for he quick reply, yes I definately think this is true, it will be interesting to findout next week when the levels are done, what really makes me annoyed, is when I ask the endo, is it because New job more stress, he looks at me like I have horns, no no hes says nothing to do with stress, I just cant believe him at times, thank God we have Barts, who actually listen.she also feels better if she has little snacks often, unfortunately she cannot take a power nap, over the weekend she has little naps and I see a big difference.Have a wonderful New Year and hope its a healthier and better one for everybody, and thank you so much for all your help on this site.
