Since June of 09 my GH was tested 4 times, all were sent to Mayo in Rochester. The last 3x the number was exactly the same the first reading was 0.001. How likely is it for the number to be stuck on the same reading, last 3 at 1.79?
I have a macro pituitary tumor and all symptoms of acromegaly.
What are your thoughts about the GH testing, would it be typical to have the same number 3 times?

I wanted to add this: I had the argentine suppression test done twice with results of 4.1 and 5.9. I never had this glucose test done, how is this different? Is this only done when the GH is high? Is IGF-1 and somatestin (spell) the same test?
I am very confused about all of those tests, so many done.

Seems really strange to have the same figure 3 times in a row! GH apparently (from what I have read and from what endo told me) fluctuates all the time. I wonder if there is something wrong with their records system?!
