I hope his DI is resolving, this would be a big step for him.
One shot keeps me free of unrination from around 10 PM - 5 AM... Sometimes DI will strike me during the day as well if I have not taken, or not taken enough less than one shot a night before.
This is all hard to balance, the bodies water weight, dehydration issues etc. I had been taking up to 3 shots of DDAVP and a week after had to have an IV reiserted into me for 4 trys before they could draw blood from me for a test I was so dehydrated.
I would like to try the DI there is a pill however, I have to speak to my Endo about this. Right now DI is the last thing that I am seeking to work on with my Doctors.
@wesley ok so you were able to take it a couple times a week but became dehydrated. Thanks, that helps me understand better. His endo is willing to give him the pills. My husband is being stubborn (which I understand) he wants his hormones to work right.
Remember we each have different weights and water capacity levels etc, so ur husband need to take time to learn his dosage corectly. He will notice complete resolution of his symptoms, powerful horomone spray.
