Acromegaly related acne

Does anyone with acro has or had in the past problems with skin and acne? If yes I would like to hear some advise, now I'm helpless, I have tried to fight to this with nutriction changes, dermatology treatment, and it gives very poor improvement.

Hi Peter. I've had skin problems/ acne for probably nearly 20 years. Although I've only recently been diagnosed with acro I'm sure it must have something to do with it. I also don't think that my job ( working with horses) helps my skin much. I'm on medication for it, but I don't think that its really helping that much anymore.I thinks I find the thing that makes the most difference more recently is the products I use on my skin, I also have been having facials recently which I think has been helping. I also know that my other medication for acro probably has an effect on it.

Ask the deems for a retinoid. I am using that and a topical antibiotic and it seems to be helping, granted it is moving very slowly. A month and a half before I noticed thigs were actually getting better.
