Acromegaly (from Greek akros "high" and megas "large" - extremities enlargement) is a hormonal disorder that results when the pituitary gland produces excess growth hormone (hGH). i thought i would let you know how the vid is doing and what things have come of it. here is a link for anybody who has missed it.

to date it has had 743 hits from the end of january.
a few ppl have mailed me personally to say thank you and that they are now getting checked out or are coming here to seek help advice and support. the pituitary foundation have linked to the vod from thier website and also a newspaper is intersted in doing a story on acromegaly.
i wanted to get this video out to ppl so they understood what it was etc, and it has done more which has surprised me, leading to one person being dioagnosed with acro from them watching the vid and then seeking medical advice. i thought only the uk and usa would watch it. but now i have info for where in the world it is being watched. which is the following.

If it helped one person get diagnosed then it has done it's job,you didn't sugar coat it,you told it how it was through your eyes.

You are our inspiration. Thank you for your your creativity and candor in getting the word out. I imagine there are others out there- from all these countries who have gotten an earlier diagnosis as a direct result of your efforts. Once the shock wears off following testing, I think you'll find that others will be very grateful to you as well.
