I do think our priorities have ebbs and flows... I often think I am doing great and then - BANG - I figure out I may not be as serene and at peace as I thought I was...
I have through time, looked at my relationship with myself as a full time job... I can't take it for granted... and the more I work at it, the less it seems to be work and is just part of my daily routine...

There is also a risk in getting too busy, and you described it very well, Maryn. There have been times in my recovery when I have felt so good, alive, and effective that I spread myself too thin without realizing it. Next thing you know, old character defects begin to take over because I haven't been working self-care and/or spiritual practice.
Thanks for the timely reality check, and it's nice to hear from ya!
Glad you Popped in... And thanks for your Share... You Pretty Much expressed my Current Life style as well... Always placing my Focus on everything & everyone but me, and in the mean time, slowly but surely lossing the ground I once made! It is Tough sometimes to stay "In the Moment" of My Recovery...
Seems Life is always Tuggin at me wether I'm ready or not! I Needed your Reminder today of all days, so I'm Very Grateful you Popped in and Openly put it out there...
Hope to Hear More of Where ya Been & How :) Thanks for dropping in :)
Love & Prayers we Can BOTH Get back on track

Lovely to see you Maryn ! Hope you are well too!
