My anniversary of my father's death was last week, and this week, my mother's. For whatever reason I picked this time to have surgery on my little doggie. I took him to the vet, pretty much knowing what he'd say. But I had the cloud of dread hanging over me for so long I wanted it over with.

Probably not the best time to be trapped in the house for two weeks. And as I mentioned, my sister picked this time to pack up and move across the country. So I've felt better in my life. Right now, if you could see it visually, I'd be walking around with a pile of "stuff" on my back about the size of Detroit. And it feels like it.

I am trying not to feel crushed by the weight of it. Trying to keep my routine going as well. Back to walking now the bandage is off the fur-baby. I have been painting too though not very enthusiastically. But painting none the less. Just concentrating on trying not to spin in circles. Keep inching in some sort of direction till I decide. This next week, getting through this anniversay for my mother, right before Mother's Day......judt trying to stay in touch with my feelings in spite of how bad they are.
