Funny How things work out... Those that Read my Last thread know that there is more Addiction Rif-Raf goin on in my Family that include my 2 oldest Grandkids! And Because it Happened 4 days before Our Celebrated holiday of Christmas, it brought lots of Tears, Hurt, Pain, to an 8-10 yrs...
Well i have been Prayin to HP For Days now, Just Praying to Keep me On my Side of the Fence, Lips Zipped, and Let HP do what HP Does! And Gently Extending the Olive Branch that I am Here if you Need Me!
Some No I Lost My MIL to Cancer 2 Very Short Yrs ago, and she lived right up the Road from me 5 houses away! We were Very Close & She would Call me sometimes Daily just to chat, or I would walk up! Well She inspired me to Learn to Cook, & to Look more into Flowers & Birds, and in her Yard she Always Hung "Wren Houses" They were her Favorite little Bird :) And Her Gardens were Always Amazing... Green thumb at Heart!
I sometimes Don't know how My HP Puts up with me, Cause I'm a Very Demanding Soul at times... And for Me to Believe, I Must See, Feel, or Be aware of the Spirits in my Heart! And My MIL was Alot in the Same, She was Hard, but only to Push Ya to do better, and if She Loved ya, she would share her Soft side too, and any one that watches Wren's when their Nesting will know, they can be Quite the "Spit Fire" for being no bigger then 3" tall...
My Husband & I at times will Walk to our Shop next door, its a Garage with 2 offices in it (We were in the Office with the Doors closed to the garage) So We are Discussing our middle Son's Issues, and I'm telling him how I've been Praying that regardless of where this goes that the Parents just find a way to be civil with one another, (It got REALLY Out of Control, & has been for some time) and that I Just feel for the Kids, but yet at the same time, I Can very much relate since that was the age I was when My Parents Split (Brutily as well) So I Feel that will be a Comfort to them as they Move thru this current heart break...
We are Sittin there and Out of the Blue, a Fluffy, little Wren Sworms the Office! :O at First it Scared me cause it came out of my office in to my husbands... It Had to get in the Day before when the Garage door was open, and was hangin out in my Flower pot hangin in my window... It didn't seem Scared, it just flew around the office, landed back on the flower Pot, & looked right at the both of us one at a time, and hung out...
Well, I have NO Doubt My MIL was Sending her Message & I know she's on the Job! Last Year on my Husbands Bday 11 months after We lost her, he was in a Tree Stand hunting, and a Wren Landed Right on His Knee! And Raised Cane with him, and Off she went!
HP Is always listening when I Pray, but if I Blink I may miss the Message, This Wren allowed me to walk past it, open the door, and after a Few Chirps, off She went, and I Made sure she had Fresh Food to be on to her Next Visit!
I HATE This For My Grandkids, but the Peace I Felt when that Bird took Flieght, without Panic, without fear, and bounced its way to the Door, like "I Got this" allows me to see, there will be Bumps... Maybe even Big Ones! "But!" "We Got this! HP Got this!" along with all the Angels that Sworm us with their Daily Spirit & Love!
For Me, it has been Ruff Remembering & Reliving My Parents Hatred for One another in those times, the beatings, the Choking's the Screams of Hate, the Holes in the Walls of Our Home, Slamming Doors, Tears... BUT... When the Smoke Clears, I Realize that "that" Experience in My Life, will Help Me In Allowing My Grandkids to know that They too... Will Be OK! Just Like Grandma is! And that is ALL HP, Moving me Thru the Life I have Lived... From Start to Finish, putting each peice of the pie were it should be! Even Generations away! And Besides... This too Shall Pass ;)
