As for books and things like that I do agree that sometimes a book may not connect... then we try again and all of a sudden the words just sink into our souls... it is a wonderful experience...
However in my HP's time.....if it's meant to happen for me....it will.....of that I am sure!!
Yes I too can Relate to alot of that you Mention here.. I have not Read Mr. Bradshaw's books but have heard alot of positive things about them, and know people that have indeed helped, Like your 1st try & Karen's I have read pieces here & there thru on-line book pages, and I'm just not there yet... Good for you for Staying open enough to give it another whirl.. Sounds like it really is Paying off ;0)
I too am Slowly learning that the More I Open myself to HP the Happier & more Health a Life I Seem to Lead... My Dear Friend i Resently Lost to Cancer taught me so Much about Surrendering to HP, and her Strength got me wondering what happen to mine! I have along way to go, but i know... Deep down... When I Surrender to My HP Whole Heartedly, only then will I Reap the Benifit of the Life the Desire... Now its just taking the steps to get there ;)
Good Luck with the rest of your book :0)
