Hey everybody. I'm new here. I have some questions and I hope I'm not alone. So I've had acne since fiftth grade. At one point I was on a rentinol topical treatment but I was young and couldn't take the pain. I'm now 18 and have decided to really crack down on my acne. I've been using salicylic acid over the counter treatments. I have been getting less pimples but my skin is sooooo red and there is so much dead skin. I have to scrub the craps out of my face to get the dead skin of. I can't even wear makeup because of it. My face hurts all the time. Does it get better? Is this normal? Should I find another product?

Freeman Facial Charcoal & Black Sugar Polish Mask it's more of a scrub than a mask or you can try St Ives Apricot Scrub, Blemish Control both of them are pretty good for the exfoliation the only thing is I only use it every 3 days and make sure you use a good moisturizer

t I asked my almost 18 year old son to try something I sale for oily skin. He has and also has some important events coming up where they can't photo shop the pictures. We were desperate. He was a football player and would sweat and always touch his face. In using 6 weeks, the acne has totally almost dried up. He's greatful I suggested it. We had tried everything....Thank goodness and no drug use of anysort. I won't post it here as to draw attention to anything. But it honeslty did work, as he was tired of being an experiement with messed up skin!! Your skin will change partly when you get older for sure. It is probably time to try something that isn't burning your skin!! Good luck to you!! I know it's rough!!

It is really sad that you have to face such problem because of acne. I too suffer from acne but it is just itchy and uncomfortable. You should consult a dermatologist because your condition really needs a proper medication.
