I cannot imagine what you are going through. As cliche as this sounds try to maintain your focus on healing and all the positives in life, like your children. You are alive and breathing, and where your health may not be the same, try to figure out what works for your "new" life. I, too, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2012. For a year the doctor kept saying I was fine, tests were normal, etc. But I felt horrible still and even more frustrated because I did not feel like myself anymore. I have chronic headaches, which scared the living daylights out of me, neck pain, trouble sleeping, numbness in my left arm and fingers. Actually, to this day I still have the neck/shoulder/arm thing. I've learned to live with it and ignore some of the sensations because I know where they are coming from.
I also know first hand how anxiety and depression can make symptoms WAY worse. That was the case for me as well. I started praying, and trying to remember that my anxiety was way worse than the actual issue. I try to stay calm. Most the time I succeed, but there are days I fail big time. If this happens, I try to sleep it off and look forward to tomorrow to try again.
You have a family, yourself to live the best life you can. You deserve this! You have suffered enough mentally. Give yourself a break and speak positivity and life to yourself and your circumstance.
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds WE ARE HEALED." - Isaiah 53:5
