You are feeling survivor's guilt... This is something that happens to people who witnessed traumatic death of someone they felt connected with. There is nothing anyone can do or say to make you change your mind about how you feel, because it is a form of grief and greiving properly is the best thing robe done right now..
You need to talk about it, have someone be there for you to hear you, you need to heal emotionally..
If you feel like you are not healing, you may want to see a therapist to help you with grief.
I never did this and it was a lot harder to move on.
I m so sorry you lost your grandfather.
