I'm not married, but I thought u'd be happy to know my parents waiting until they were married and are still together and tell me they are immensely happy they waited. (Yes, Im sure they were being honest, lol) And my friend is engaged and her and her fiance are getting married in december and are both abstinent, so I will let ya know how that goes ^^

I was married and now divorced, and we waited till marriage. Now though I'm swearing abstinence as I know it hurts more in the longrun to sex before I am committed to someone in marriage..I struggle way much with desire tho...that hurts too ..but I'd know it will hurt more if I don't wait.

My fianc`e and I didn`t wait till marriage to have sex.My wedding nite was like opening presents under the tree on Christmas day when two days before you sneaked a peak.When the right time comes to open the gifts the anticipation and excitement is drastically reduced becuse you already know what the gift is.I am now divorced and pre-marital sex is the cause of it.I would give anything to go back to my engagement and say no sex before marriage.Pre marital sex causes damage.

I have two friends I went on a mission trip 2 years ago that went to the singles group where I go to church. They ended up getting married at age 28 and 34. They were virgins as mentioned at their wedding, and I believe them both. Now they are pregnant with twins. There are still people that do wait. I have met many couples that have at church.

I have many friends who waited till marriage for sex. It inspires me to continue my commitment to wait. Now do these couples have issues in life? yes, but they work through it. One couple I know are in their early 30's and have been married for 10 years and they have a great physical and spiritual relationship together mainly because each one focuses on God on their own and then pray togther that God would help them love and take care of each others needs. They do nice things for each other all the time to show love and I am told that is what makes their "love life" great. they do have fights, but they never go to bed angry. Not a fairy tale, they tell me how much effort it takes to have that relationship. they work equally at it.

I am getting married in 4 months and me and my fiance have been together for 5 years and are both virgins. we are very happy we are waiting because it will make it that much more exciting on our wedding day.
