Abandonment Community Group
At one time or annother, we are all faced with the pain of abandonment. Whether the person(s) who walked out on you was a parent, partner or friend, it hurts. This is a place of friendship and support.

It kind of defeats the purpose of joining a support group when there is no support going on here. I have been a member for about a week now and have sent messages to people with only one response. Can't say that it makes for a hopeful side of things.

I'm here, alone, lonely, rejected, overwhelmed. Don't give up. Alot of people don't associate their feelings with abandonment. They think of breakups or divorce, and somehow this topic gets overlooked. I have suffered from abandonment in one form or another as a child and as an adult from parents, ex's, and children. I hope you will continue to post, because I need support too. I feel like a door mat by now, and don't know how to stop putting myself in the position for my ex to keep treating me this way. He left me with promises and no action at the worst of worst possible times in my life. Hopefully, we can support each other.

I've dealt with abandonment over and over my whole life... let's support one another! I just came back after not being on in a long time. There usually is plenty of support on DS in various groups. Don't let it get you down if it takes a while for people to respond. I think many have problems and they all need to unload their own issues and problems and its hard to focus on others during that time.. just a possible reason for the lack of acknowledgment...doesn't mean its good or bad.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
