Anyone can join, you don't have to be "Christian". Belief in God is all you need. We have only 2 rules---1. God is in control 2. When all else fails, refer to rule #1.
My life has been a series of bad events since my father passed away. There has been some good, but it has been outnumbered by the bad by far. I suffer from severe depression and the series of bad events and the lack of support in my life have been crushing me like a huge weight. If anyone needs God it is certainly me, but I cannot help but feel he is not there for me because this is all too much for me. I don't feel any love and compassion by our so called father.

God will never leave you or forsake you. Just keep believing for Him to help you and guide you.
I pray you will hear his voice and be guided by him. I pray for relief from your troubles and pray you will be given a support system to help you through these bad times.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
This important to remember. Have you ever read the poem "footsteps." It also deals with someone who had been in "the valley of death." Not literal death. But in a bad place. You think all is dark and God has abandoned you. This person looked at the footsteps in the sand. It was obvious when Jesus was walking with this person, There were two sets of footprints in the sand.
But this person asked about the times when there were only one set of footprints. He said, "You see, Jesus. That was when I needed you most. Those were the really rough times. Why didn't you walk beside me then."
Jesus also looked back. There were times when there were only one set of footprints!!
He slowly, and lovingly, explained, "That was when
I was carrying you!"
He cares. He never leaves. He's sitting right there were you left Him. Waiting for you to say, "Hey, Jesus. I need you!"
We care!! Us and Jesus!!
Footsteps In The Sand
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

He can look upon us, no matter what we have done, because Jesus's blood covers our sins.
It's all because of what Jesus has done for us. Praise Him.
becky, I do see a psychiatrist and a therapist. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a med combo that works, but I am going back again on Tuesday. I hope it works this time.
None of us have all the answers, but there is strength in numbers. All of us gathering to Praise the Lord and help each other.
