God answers prayers

Just because God may not answer in the way we want/expect does not mean our prayers go unanswered. I had been praying for a situation, but it did not go exactly the way I wanted. I realized that while it did not go the way I wanted, His answer was actually what was best for me in the end. He knew what was best for me better than I did. Instead of giving me what I wanted, He made sure to do what was the best for me even if it was hard for me at first. I thank you, Lord, for knowing what is best for me and loving me enough to look out for my best interests.

HELLO, THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AND MY HUSBAND. IT WAS ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO BUT LIKE YOU SAID THE WAY GOD ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS WAS BETTER THEN THE WAY IT WOULD'VE BEEN. WE WERE PRAYING FOR THIS JOB. OUR CHURCH WAS LOOKING FOR A LEADER FOR OUR YOUTH GROUP. MY HUSBAND AND I REALLY WANTED TO DO IT. WE HAD KIDS IN THE GROUP AND IT WAS PAID. THERE WAS ONLY US AND ONE OTHER PERSON. WE DIDN'T GET THE JOB. THE OTHER PERSON HAD MORE EXPERIENCE BUT WE DID HELP OUT WITH THE GROUP EVERYOTHER MONDAY. IT PAID $50 THE NIGHT WE WORKED. NOW THE PART THAT MADE IT ANSWERED TO OUR BEST INTEREST IS BECAUSE WE DIDN'T GET THE JOB WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE A MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER WEEKEND THE FOLLOWING YEAR AND GET INVOLVED WITH MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER AND MEET A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE. WE'RE NO LONGER INVOLVED BUT IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. WE MOVED AWAY AND NOW BELONG TO A DIFFERENT CHURCH BUT IT WAS STILL A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I THINK ABOUT IT A LOT. SO LIKE THE PROGRAM WE USED TO WATCH FATHER KNOWS BEST I LOOK AT IT AS GOD KNOWS BEST-HE IS OUR FATHER TOO. LOL! SO EITHER WAY.

You are right Blue. God always answers our prayers, but it's not always the way we want things to go. Also, sometimes it takes a long time to get an answer and we must have faith that He will answer us. Look how long Abraham waited on God to give him a son.

God knows us. He knows what we need. He does indeed answer prayers. His answers are yes, no or wait. We must watch for the answers and accept them.

Yes, I agree. God knows each of us and we do have to accept the answers.

He loves us so much and 'all things work together for the good, for those who love The Lord'

    One day runs into the next I can't seem to keep them straightBut i do know it's Tuesday and I start to clean my landord's place again so it'll keep me going although I take breaks more often nowHe doesn't mind and I gwt it doneI hope that you have a good day and can get done what you need toBig hugz sent..Xo
