I find this to be very true. For some reason it's always easier to see other peoples' flaws and to point them out. Most of us are the first ones to call them out on it. But it's almost impossible to see the flaws of ourselves, recognize them, and take responsibility for them. If we see the things that irritate us about others, then we can work hard to prevent those traits in ourselves. It also helps to remember where you've come from, the changes you've already made, and the possible changes you can make to better yourself for the future.
