I remember once hearing someone say " Life is a series of agreeing and disagreein with the universe". There is so truth in that statement, for I am only a small cog in the machinery of the universe. when I try to run things my way, I'll only expeirence frustration and a sense of failure. If , instead I learn to let go, sucess will assuredly be mine. Then I;ll have time to count my blessings., work on my shortcomings and live fully and richly in the Now. Do I believe what I am meant to know will come to my knowledge if I practice the Eleventh step- praying only for knowledge of God's will for me and the power to carry that out?

I am a self professed control freak(Pride and ego issues intertwined). It is a defect I struggle with the most. I have grown a great deal in this area, and it is absolutely a requirement for me to keep emotional sobriety. "Let it Go" and" Thy will be done" are mantras I say many times during the day.~ Also, in reference to step 11, it is interesting how much that dialog with my HP has changed. The prayers are more like "show me what you want me to do and be" rather than "Please let me do this, or Please let this work out my way". And following the prayers must come mediation to receive the guidance I so desperately need. There is a simplicity to it all, and God knows I need that! : )

Step 11 guided me how to seek Gods will, not my own. How to pray that I can get through whatever is placed in my path. I cannot seek solutions, that would be to fulfill 'my will'. I just pray that I can find the strength and courage to see 'Gods will' through. One thing I have learned most in this past year, is God's will in my life isn't all about me.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
