In times past, even as adults, many of us cheerlessly insisted that people protect, and care for us. We acted as if the world owed us a living. And then, when the people we loved most got fed up, pushing us aside, or abandoning us completely, we were bewildered. We couldn't see that our over-dependence on people was unsuccessful because all human beings are fallible, even the best of them will sometimes let us down., especially when our demands are unreasonable. Today in contrast, we rely upon God , counting on him rather than ourselves or other people. Am I trying to do as I think God would have me do , trusting the outcome of his will for me?

Yes, It is called maturity. Realizing that life owes you nothing. It's about putting selfish expectations aside for the greater good of those we come In contact with. It becomes a thought process of "What can I do for this person, rather than what can they do for me." There is a Freedom in that, A sense of Hope. My HP has become my best friend. It's interesting to me that the first thing I do now when faced with a difficult situation, is to pray and meditate on the solution. Prayer being the outgoing part and mediation being the receiving part. Sometimes the answer is slow, but it is always revealed if I am receptive and willing to do the work.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
