In every story we hear from others in The Program, pain has been the price of admission into a new life. But are admission price purchased far more than we expected. It led us to a degree of humility, which we soon discovered to be a healer of pain. And, in time, we began to fear pain less- and desire humility more than ever. Am Ilearning to " sit loosely in the saddle"- making the most of what comes and the least of what goes?

Humility is something I have been meditating about lately. I am in the process of trying to really grasp what it means. I realize it is one of my biggest character defects to reject humility.Through out my life I have built up a strong fortress of protection(ego) against people and ideas. That way, I could never be hurt. That wall of protection I have built is going to kill me.Ironic. It's just me and the disease behind that wall, spooky stuff. As most "Hard Cases"~I have been painted into a corner,no choice but to exercise some honesty, open mindedness, and willingness.

Living life on life's terms is what stood out for me reading this. And the reminder to hand my will over to HP/God of my understanding.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
