Until we came to the program, our lives had been spent running from pain and problems.Escape by way of alcohol or other chemicals was always our temporary solution. Then we started going to meetings. We looked and listened , often with amazement. Everywhere around us we saw , failure and misery transformed by humility into priceless assets. To those who've made progress in the program , humility is simply a clear recognition of what and who we really are- followed by a sincere attempt to become what we could be. Is the program showing me what I could be?

It gave me HOPE, and the promises all came true. I wanted what the program offered, and the people in AA gave me hope that it would, if I did the work required. Each day I attended AA, and worked the steps with my sponsor my hope was reinforced, until it was not hope any longer, I wasn't in fear of life anymore, I was living it.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
