Do you know gjm? I actually think the current name is quite good.........if this is to be for the newcomer, to share experience strength and hope, then it is 'a place to start'.

I know there are many that contemplate the rooms but never get there. It took me well over a year to 'get there'.

Well i can go along with that. We should take a vote in a few days. The only problem I may see is some people might think we are breaking a tradition.

When this was discussed on another board, it was deemed that the letters AA had to be in small form and not capital. Other than that, it was all ok I believe (please dont take my word for gospel though, I am but a bear! teehee).

Keep It Simple is a good one for me. To me, there is far too much over complication of what is a simple programme. Hey, I get lost in lots of posts and that is after going to AA for a while!

When i made up this name I did it just to get this started. I also admit I capitalized AA out of a bit of rebelliousness. It was supposed to have read "AA, (comma) a place to start but it wouldn't accept it lol. We must remember that this a safe place to come and talk about 'stuff". Whether a new person looking for answers or one who has been around a while yet needs help with some LIFE problem. We are not an AA group but we can be the meeting after the meeting.

If you are putting AA in the title, the guidelines are to make it in lower case. I think BBH can advise you well on that.
