No doubt sobriety is only a start. From my exp. if ya don't keep changing ya can't keep growing.

I love it!

The steps and the fellowship provided sobriety. With that came opportunity to work on those things about me in my life that did not work and to learn, change, grow in ways that my life could work better. Also I learn how to better accept myself and life, and live sober. But it takes me time - little bits of progress.

When drinking I did not learn, i did not have that opportunity. It was only killing me and turning my life to hell.

if your not moving forward you are slipping backwards....it gets better....lots better....I have had it get better even though much worse stuff has happened to my life since I quit drinking but what more would have gone wrong if I was drinking I cannot fathom....I am glad to be sober.....hugs bill
